Planet Bake, a brand focused on making desserts healthier and more planet-friendly, is launching a new donut flavor in partnership with Veganuary, a movement to inspire people to try vegan for the month of January and throughout the rest of the year. Planet Bake’s new Toffee Caramel donuts, featuring the Veganuary logo on each package, encourage customers to explore the challenge.
“By putting flavor and texture first, Planet Bake creates positive associations with sometimes-intimidating callouts like ‘plant-based’ and ‘sugar-free,’” says Planet Bake founder and chief executive officer Kathrin Henon. “Our new Toffee Caramel flavor – decadent, rich and buttery – goes the extra mile to show consumers that vegan can be ridiculously delicious. Bettering ourselves and our environment doesn’t have to come with sacrifices. We hope, by creating this positive association through our most delicious donut yet, that our consumers will accept the challenge through January and beyond.”
Every Planet Bake product is egg-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, non-GMO, and keto- and paleo-friendly. Planet Bake never uses artificial sweeteners or monk fruit, instead opting for allulose for a natural sweet taste and zero glycemic impact. Made with avocado oil, almond flour, psyllium husk, flax and pea protein, each donut is carefully crafted to be low net-carb and offer protein and fiber for fullness.
This January, Planet Bake’s new Toffee Caramel flavor in partnership with Veganuary can be found on its website and stores throughout the country.
