Austin-founded warm cookie delivery service Tiff’s Treats has announced a limited-time collaboration with national bakery chain Sprinkles to create an exclusive Snickerdoodle Cookie cupcake. The dessert combines the two brands’ signature sweets — Tiff’s Treats’ cookies and Sprinkles’ cupcakes.
The dessert mashup is a cinnamon cupcake with a Tiff’s snickerdoodle cookie crust, topped with cinnamon frosting and finished with cinnamon sugar dust and a mini Snickerdoodle cookie. Beginning Monday, February 27, Austin-based customers will be able to try the cupcake at Tiff’s Treats locations and Sprinkles’ Austin bakery, or by placing an online order with Tiff’s Treats for delivery.
In addition to the limited-edition Snickerdoodle Cookie Cupcake, Tiff’s Treats’ Austin locations will also offer Sprinkles’ signature red velvet and sprinkle cupcake flavors available to add to any order. The collaboration will run from February 27 through April 30 with limited quantities available for purchase each day.
“It’s been soul-satisfying to work with Sprinkles on this collaboration,” says Tiffany Chen, owner and co-founder of Tiff’s Treats. “As two dessert companies with a thorough commitment to our confectionary craft, we have a deep understanding of each other’s values and the challenges we’ve faced to get where we are today. I couldn’t think of a better partner for this collaboration, and it was such a treat to work with them to bring the fan-favorite Snickerdoodle flavor to life in an exclusive new way.”
“Austin is such a special market. In a city where our guests love to experiment with food and flavors, being able to bring something new is really exciting. When you combine two iconic brands like Sprinkles and Tiff’s Treats, known for creating the most decadent cupcakes and cookies, you know it’s going to be good,” says Sprinkles president and chief executive officer Dan Mesches.
In celebration of the launch, Tiff’s Treats’ flagship store in the heart of Austin will be covered in Sprinkles themed décor starting on February 27.
“Both Tiff’s and Sprinkles have the most loyal and supportive fan bases,” says Chen. “We wanted the launch of this specialty dessert to not only be a fun community event, but to also serve as a thank you to our customers who have helped make our brands a success over the years.”
