The Philadelphia Flyers and Wells Fargo Center have announced Insomnia Cookies, the warm cookie delivery brand which originated in Philadelphia, as the “Official Cookie of the Philadelphia Flyers.”
As part of the multi-year deal and the bakery’s first in-arena vendor partnership, fans can find two Insomnia Cookies locations within the New Wells Fargo Center, which will be serving up the brand’s cookies and signature Cookies IN Ice Cream. A limited assortment of Insomnia Cookies will also be available at concessions throughout the arena and as a dessert option in suites.
As the “Official Cookie of the Philadelphia Flyers,” Insomnia will create in-arena signage and activations. Additionally, the brand will serve as a presenting partner of the Flyers’ Student Rush promotion, offering discounted tickets to local college students, and help to keep the party going after home games by hosting several “Flyers After Dark” events, where fans can celebrate wins with sweet treats.
“We are thrilled to partner with Insomnia Cookies on their first sports partnership right here in their hometown of Philadelphia,” says Dan Wise, senior vice president of corporate partnerships for the Philadelphia Flyers and Wells Fargo Center. “With two brand-new locations at the New Wells Fargo Center, fans at more than 200 events a year will be able to enjoy Philadelphia’s most beloved cookies at the city’s premier destination for sports and entertainment. It also strengthens our commitment to bringing the best local food and beverage offerings Philadelphia has to offer to Wells Fargo Center.”
Founded at the University of Pennsylvania, Insomnia Cookies has always had deep roots in the city, and this partnership will continue to grow that bond.
“As we continue to grow and innovate in Philadelphia and beyond, Insomnia Cookies is looking forward to expanding our loyal fan base of Insomniacs to include the more than two million fans at Wells Fargo Center and satisfy their cookie cravings all day and late into the night,” says Tom Carusona, Insomnia Cookies chief marketing officer.
