Lady M Confections has announced the introduction of its new Lavender Mille Crêpes Cake ($108), in time for Mother’s Day and other springtime celebrations.
Launching on Monday, May 1, this cake features 20 alternating layers of paper-thin French crêpes and lavender pastry cream that surround a center filling of blackberry jelly. The organic lavender flowers and delicate piping of lavender-blackberry cream make for an elegant finish.
Also new to the menu is the Strawberry Swirl Mille Crêpes Cake. Tart, creamy and sweet, this cake brings together strawberry-infused sponge cake, paper-thin crêpes and strawberry pieces. It’s finished with a swirl of strawberry pastry cream and strawberry powder.
