With 87 locations open in the US and Canada today, Cinnaholic is on track to have 105 locations open by the end of 2023. Additionally, the vegan cinnamon roll bakery chain has another 25 openings planned for 2024, with 55 more in the pipeline.
Cinnaholic’s 2022 US sales revenues were up 20 percent from 2021. Eight owners have seen such strong success, they have opened more than one bakery. Another five owners have signed for their second location. This group includes Shane and Erica Shouldeen, co-owners of two Cinnaholic locations with rights and plans for a third location in Des Moines, Iowa.
“Our experience owning a Cinnaholic as a husband/wife team has been amazing. Together we watch as our business grows and becomes a staple in our home city of Des Moines,” says Shane and Erica Shouldeen. “Owning a business that is 100 percent vegan is something we’ve always dreamed of doing. Now our dreams have become our reality and we couldn’t be more excited every day to open our doors.”
In addition to expanding its footprint to reach more customers, Cinnaholic has also been busy expanding its offerings for existing loyal customers. Just last month, the company announced the launch of its new loyalty program, Cinnaholic Rollwards, as well as three new limited time offerings for spring.
“Cinnaholic is one of the fastest growing bakery franchises in the world, and that wouldn’t be possible without our owners or our customers,” says Leanne Cavallaro, vice president, operations. “We consider our franchise owners part of the Cinnaholic family – we care, support and encourage each other every single day. And we are always looking for new ways to reward our Cinnaholic loyalists for all the love they’ve shown us over the years.”
