A sweet collaboration

Austin-founded warm cookie delivery bakery Tiff’s Treats recently announced a collaboration and a strategic investment in bite-sized cupcake brand Baked by Melissa. Beginning May 1, the brands released a limited-edition collection of cookie-inspired cupcakes available in-store or for local delivery at all 88 Tiff’s Treats locations.

The Tiff’s Treats x Baked by Melissa assortment features six specialty bite-sized cupcakes inspired by Tiff’s Treats’ signature and seasonal cookie and brownie flavors, including Red Velvet, Cookie Dough and Triple Chocolate Fudge. Baked by Melissa has also developed three additional exclusive flavors for the collection, including Snickerdoodle, Naughty Brownie and Salted Caramel Blondie. The assortment of six bite-size cupcakes is available at all Tiff’s Treats locations for in-store pick-up or local delivery by ordering at its website.

The collection came with Tiff’s Treats’ announcement that the company has made an equity investment in Baked by Melissa. The strategic partnership will allow the two companies to leverage each other’s geographic footprints and online and brick-and-mortar presence, as they explore additional ways to work together.

“Melissa is such a creative soul in the kitchen, and it was thrilling to put our heads together on bite-sized Tiff’s Treats-inspired cupcakes,” says Tiffany Chen, co-founder and chief brand officer of Tiff’s Treats. “Our investment in Baked by Melissa is representative of our trust in the team and our respect for the quality brand they’ve established. With our shared mission of bringing joy through gifting and sweet treats, our partnership feels meant to be. We have been growing our brand offerings on our gifting platform and look forward to customers having an even broader choice of premium, iconic brands to gift alongside warm Tiff's Treats cookies.”

“It’s been a pleasure working with Tiffany and the Tiff’s Treats team towards our shared goal of making people happy through our delicious treats,” says Melissa Ben-Ishay, founder and chief executive officer of Baked by Melissa. “We’re excited to introduce our bite-size cupcakes to new markets where Baked by Melissa doesn’t currently have a brick-and-mortar presence, and look forward to continuing to collaborate to reach customers nationwide.”
