New York City’s Bagel Boss has announced that it is taking its renowned bagels from the Big Apple to the Sunshine State, with a grand opening in Hollywood, Florida.

“We are thrilled to bring our one-of-a-kind taste and quality award-winning New York bagels to the vibrant community of Hollywood,” says Bagel Boss chief executive officer Andrew Hazen. “Floridians deserve to experience the genuine essence of a New York bagel, and we are confident that Bagel Boss will exceed their expectations.”

Leading the charge to bring the brand to Florida is franchisee Phil Baratz, who along with his family of entrepreneurs and bagel aficionados, has signed a three-unit store deal in the state.

“When I first tried a Bagel Boss bagel, I knew I had to bring this exceptional taste to Florida,” Baratz says. “The community here deserves the absolute best, and with Bagel Boss, we’re delivering just that. I’m thrilled to be part of the Bagel Boss family and can’t wait to introduce Floridians to these award-winning New York bagels, as well as the entire Bagel Boss experience.”

The first Hollywood, Florida location is set to open its doors in July of 2023, with a second retail location to follow soon after. Bagel Boss invites the Hollywood community to join in on the grand opening celebration, where each guest can enjoy a complimentary Bagel Boss bagel.
