National Dog Day takes place on Saturday, August 26, and to celebrate, California-based SusieCakes is offering themed treats for both humans and their furry friends.

Throughout the month of August, dog lovers can enjoy Susie's Famous Dog Treats and Dog Frosted Sugar Cookies. The bakery’s Dog Treats feature a special recipe combining peanut butter, flour, eggs and molasses. The Dog Frosted Sugar Cookies Dog feature white royal icing, dipped in brown, white or gold sanding sugar.

With each purchase of the sugar cookies, a $1 donation will go towards local shelters and charities that are special to SusieCakes locations, including San Diego Humane Society, Love Bugs Rescue, Muttville Senior Dog Rescue and more.
