Las Vegas-based Jewish delicatessen Siegel’s Bagelmania is offering various catering options for the upcoming Jewish holidays in September, including a traditional family dinner menu for Rosh Hashanah and a variety of platters and side dishes for Yom Kippur.
For Rosh Hashanah, the catered family dinner ($295.95) feeds 8-10 people and features traditional Jewish dishes and sides such as matzo ball soup, holiday brisket with gravy, roasted chicken, choice of chopped liver or noodle kugel, potato latkes with cherry apple sauce, roasted carrots, large round challah either plain or raisin, and a choice of honey cake or black and white cookies.
Individual dinners ($32.95) are also available with a choice of matzo ball soup, chopped liver or noodle kugel as a starter and either holiday brisket with gravy or roasted chicken as an entrée. Individual dinners come with one potato latke, roasted carrots, two slices of challah, and a black & white cookie. Orders can be picked up September 14 and 16 from 9 am to 3 pm. All items will be chilled and come with detailed reheating instructions.
For Yom Kippur, Siegel’s Bagelmania offers various platters, deli salads and starters for pick up September 23-25 from 9 am to 3 pm. Among the options are a fish platter with lox or nova with bagels or bialys served with plain shmear, tomato, cucumber, olives, red onion, capers, and lemons; a deli scoop platter with a choice of three salads: egg salad, chicken salad, white fish salad, tuna salad, or chopped liver; and a meat platter with a choice of three meats: pastrami, roast beef, corned beef, turkey or brisket and a choice of double baked rye bread or challah bread, served with Russian dressing, deli mustard, and kosher pickles on the side. Family feasts can be completed with a sweets platter comprised of either Bagelmania’s signature mini black & white cookies, assorted rugelach or babka cakes.
