Insomnia Cookies, celebrating its 20th anniversary since being founded in the US, is bringing its brand to hungry Canadians with its first store opening in the country at York University in Toronto, Ontario on Saturday, September 9.
The late night cookie bakery is hosting a late night celebration for on and off campus fans with a party under the stars, free cookies and merchandise.
Today, there are over 248 Insomnia Cookies locations in US, with many more on the way. While much of its success can be attributed to late night hours and delivery, the chain has also looked to innovate in its flavors.
“While our late-night in-store and delivery options have been the key to our success, so has our innovation of flavors and creations – what we call, ‘cookievation’,” says Seth Berkowitz, founder and chief executive officer of Insomnia Cookies.
