Companion Baking looks to support its hometown St. Louis (MO) community during October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

In support of Susan G. Komen Missouri and the Pink Ribbon Good organizations, the company is hosting activations, running promotions at participating grocery stores and donating money to this cause.

At the Schnucks supermarket chain, 2x reward points will be given to any customer purchasing any of the 14 Companion Baking items available at stores during the month of October, with dedicated pink signage and tabs highlighting the participating brands at all stores.

At the Dierbergs supermarket chain, Companion will be donating 50 cents when two breads are purchased during the month of October. All proceeds from the Dierbergs promotion will go to Susan G. Komen Missouri

In addition to this, Companion has made a $1,000 donation to the Pink Ribbon Good organization which also funds programs for breast cancer patients.

Companion was also the “dessert” provider at the Susan G. Komen “25 Years of Impact” event on Thursday, October 19.
