Voodoo Doughnut has officially announced the grand opening date for its highly- anticipated 22nd store and first in Chicago. Located in the city’s historic Fulton Market, the store’s grand opening event is scheduled for Saturday, December 16 starting at 8 am CST.

That morning, following a ribbon cutting celebration, doors will be open to the public. The first 50 individuals in line will be treated to a surprise, while every guest will be able to enjoy spinning cases showcasing an array of over 50 doughnut flavors, including 25 vegan options.

“Oh my,” says Chris Schultz, Voodoo Doughnut chief executive officer. “We are thrilled to open our first store in Chicago just in time for all to enjoy some of that Voodoo Magic during the holiday season.”

As part of its grand opening, Voodoo Doughnut is pledging to contribute a portion of the opening day’s sales to Make-A-Wish Illinois, supporting the organization’s mission of granting life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses.
