Chicago’s Good Ambler, a bakery-café from Mondelez International that is part of 16 On Center, is celebrating Valentine’s Day with an array of themed treats.
Starting Friday, January 26, Good Ambler will roll out heart-themed confections and chocolates (full section available February 2). The lineup includes:
- Bonbons (4 and 9 piece heart sets)
- Large Heart Duos: Peanut Butter & Jelly Cookies & Milk
- Strawberry Vanilla Malt Balls
- Raspberry White Chocolate Heart Lollipops
- Valentine Cards with attached heart shaped chocolates
- Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Hearts
- Strawberry Chocolate Teddy Bears on a Dark Chocolate Base
- Dark Chocolate Heart Shaped Box filled with raspberry chambord pates de fruit and vanilla bean truffles
- Hot Chocolate Bombs
For the first two weekends in February (February 2-4 and February 9-11) and on Valentine’s Day, Valentine’s Day themed pastries and baked goods will be available. They include:
- You’re Bacon Me Crazy Bear Claw - bacon, fig jam, and whipped brie passion fruit
- Cream Cheese Brioche
- Bi-color Pistachio Rose Croissant
- Chocolate Cherry Financier
- Hibiscus Berries and Cream Swirl Cruff
- Heart Shaped Paris Brest filled with hazelnut praline cream, raspberry jam, fresh berries, and crunchy caramelized hazelnuts
- Heart Shaped Chocolate Layer Cakes
In September of 2023, Good Ambler announced Meg Galus as its new executive pastry chef. She brings with her nearly two decades of experience to the full-service café. She has been nominated as a finalist for the James Beard Outstanding Pastry Chef award three times, was named Pastry Chef of the Year by the Chicago Tribune and received the Jean Banchet Pastry Chef of the Year award.
