Three Brothers Bakery is ready for three big bakery “holidays” over the next several days, beginning Friday, February 9. The Houston, Texas bakery is selling treats for the Big Game on Sunday, February 11, as well as items for Mardi Gras on Tuesday, February 13 and Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 14. Everything is available for purchase in store or online for pickup at all of the four Three Brothers Bakery locations.  

“Normally these three “holidays” are a bit spaced out or maybe two hit right together, but this year it is three in four days, and we are ready,” says fifth generation baker Bobby Jucker.

For the Big Game, the bakery is offering football themed treats and believes its King Cakes will be the big winner at all the parties on Sunday. All locations will have King Cakes, cupcakes, dipped decorated cookies, petit fours and more.

About ten years ago, the Three Brothers Bakery team went to a bakery convention in New Orleans during Mardi Gras season and went on a bus tour of about nine different area bakeries. They came home with about nine different king cakes and let everyone try them and decide what they liked best about each one. Then the team reformulated the bakery’s king cake into what it is today.
