On Thursday, March 7, Starbucks welcomed spring with the debut of two new beverages, the Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha and Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte.   

“Lavender is the perfect flavor to transition us from the winter season into spring,” says Patrick Penny, Starbucks beverage developer. “Its soft sweetness, light floral notes and beautiful color ignite feelings of rejuvenation and awakening associated with the change of seasons.”

The new Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha features Starbucks smooth and creamy matcha and oatmilk served over ice, and topped with lavender cream cold foam, which creates sweet and subtle floral notes.

“When creating the new Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha, we wanted to capture the uplifting energy of spring in a cup,” Penny says. “The vibrant green matcha topped with lavender-hued cold foam delivers a delightfully colorful and unexpectedly delicious flavor combination.”

Also new is the Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte, which combines the soft, beautifully balanced flavors of Starbucks Blonde Espresso with creamy oatmilk, ice and sweet and subtle floral notes of lavender.

“We aimed to create a really balanced, delicious beverage,” Penny says. “The oatmilk and the Starbucks Blonde Espresso make a lovely pairing, providing a smooth, well-rounded profile that is complemented by the floral and vanilla flavors of lavender.”

  • Strawberry Açaí Lemonade Starbucks Refreshers beverage – Flavors of açaí and passionfruit with lemonade, real strawberry pieces and ice
  • Pineapple Passionfruit Lemonade Starbucks Refreshers beverage – A blend of lemonade, passionfruit accents and real pineapple pieces shaken with ice
  • Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Starbucks Refreshers beverage – Mango and dragonfruit flavors, lemonade and real dragonfruit pieces on ice
  • New Hazelnut Oatmilk Shaken Espresso – Starbucks Blonde espresso and hazelnut syrup hand-shaken with ice and finished with a splash of oatmilk
  • New Vanilla Bean Custard Danish – Golden pastry filled with rich and velvety vanilla bean custard
  • New Chicken, Maple Butter & Egg Sandwich – Breaded white-meat chicken, eggs and a maple butter spread on a toasted oat-biscuit roll

The new and returning items are available in US Starbucks stores for a limited time this season, while supplies last.
