Throughout April, Pinkbox Doughnuts is celebrating Las Vegas legends with two specially themed Blue Man Group doughnuts. All month long, guests can enjoy a new playful take on Pinkbox Doughnut’s famed creation, Blue Man Pooh, and an all-new confection inspired by Blue Man’s distinctively non-verbal forms of communication, the Throwdown.
“Pink is the new blue! Or is blue the new pink?” says Judith Perez Siegel, executive vice president at Pinkbox Doughnuts. “Either way, we are excited to start this colorful partnership, pairing our delicious and whimsical doughnuts with the extraordinary entertainment of Blue Man Group. This partnership will no doubt be a fun and unforgettable experience for everyone!”
As an homage to the production’s eccentric props and internationally known color, the Throwdown doughnut features a blue frosted raised shell filled with Cap’n Crunch marshmallow and topped with white whip, Cap’n Crunch, a large marshmallow and splattered with rainbow frosting. Additionally, the Blue Man Pooh, a synergized mashup of two iconic visuals, is made of vanilla cake topped with confetti buttercream covered in blue icing, rainbow sprinkles, candy décor and a marshmallow in the mouth.
The Blue Man Group doughnuts will be sold at all Pinkbox Doughnuts locations across the metropolitan Las Vegas Valley (not including Allegiant Stadium), as well as at the Nevada/California border in Primm, Nevada, the Nevada/Arizona border in Laughlin, Nevada and in St. George, Utah.
