The National Honey Board’s annual Queen’s Choice Awards is now accepting entries for the honor of being named one of the best made-with-honey products in the food and beverage industry.

The awards are designed to showcase the versatility of honey as a functional ingredient, sweetener and marketing advantage in new CPG products. Last year’s winners included Base Culture’s Simply Honey Nut Bread, Ufisheries’ Wildflower Honey Salmon Jerky and Fresh Fizz’s all-natural sodas.

“Each year, the National Honey Board's Queen's Choice Awards honor honey innovation in all categories of the food and beverage industries. We can’t wait to see all of this year’s exciting nominees that are using honey in new and creative products,” says Catherine Barry, the National Honey Board’s vice president of marketing.

The 2024 submissions will be judged by an expert panel of food industry veterans, which will evaluate products and finalists based on taste, product positioning, packaging and the use of honey. Qualifying products must have been introduced to the market between August 1, 2023 and July 1, 2024, must include honey and must be commercially available in the United States.
