Last Crumb, a purveyor of some of the world’s most luxurious cookies, has introduced a new earthy, rich ube flavor.
To honor his Filipino heritage, co-founder Derek Jaeger was set on doing ube justice. The bakery took the time necessary to devise a cookie with staying power. Last Crumb's cookie harnesses ube’s sweet, nutty richness and pays tribute to the purple yam.
No food dyes were used in its creation. Instead, it's made with real ube halaya (a purple yam jam), house-made ube buttercream, pure ube extract and a sprinkling of toasted ube cookie dough. The cookie offers a creamy texture and silky-smooth mouthfeel.
Available for preorder, Las Crumb's ube flavor officially drops on October 1.
