While Three Brothers Bakery highlights a different charity each month through its Cookies for a Cause, during the month of October the Houston, Texas-based bakery goes all out with a large variety of pink ribbon products including cakes, cookies, cupcakes and petit fours.  

As part of breast cancer awareness month, Three Brothers Bakery will donate 50 percent of proceeds from pink ribbon products to Susan G. Komen, one of the largest funders of breast cancer research, through Janice’s Race Fund. Everything is available for purchase in store or online for pickup at all four of the bakery’s locations.

Three Brothers Bakery has a personal connection to breast cancer.  Janice Jucker, co-owner, is the tenth person on her mother’s maternal side to be diagnosed with the disease.  For Janice, this year is extra special, as it is her 18th year of survivorship.  

“In Hebrew the letters for 18 spell Chai, and Chai means Life,” Jucker says.

Three Brothers Bakery was named 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 Best of the Best Bakery by Houston Chronicle readers and its pecan pie was named “Best Mail Order Pecan Pie America has to offer” by Country Living magazine multiple times along with many other accolades. In 2018, Three Brothers Bakery received the SBA Phoenix Award for Small Business Disaster Recovery and advocates to help small businesses recover after disasters.
