“Every customer leaves with a smile on their face and something sweet in their bag.” says Naira Vardanyan, Artisan Baker and Owner of Manan Bakery. “Customers are smiling because when they bite into our desserts, their mouth is instantly filled with a burst of our house Bavarian crème. It’s like getting a dose of happiness that uplifts the soul. I think of it as pastry therapy. Nobody leaves depressed!”
Customers can snap up an array of colorful confections to-go, such as fresh French mandarin and blueberry fruit tarts, flaky Napoleons, and tantalizing tiramisu. Naira plans to offer fall flavors to the bakery case using festive fruit fillings such as apricot.
In the bakery’s kitchen Naira uses family recipes handed down from her mother by memory, not on paper. The family's roots in Armenia proves old meets new can be successful. Naira is fulfilling a passionate dream to own a neighborhood bakery of her own, built on quality and family integrity.
