Guittard Chocolate Company, the 156-year-old San Francisco-based premium chocolate maker, has announced its Santé 72% chocolate is now available in a mini chip. The company’s innovative coconut-sugar sweetened and refined-sugar free Santé chips, which first launched in 2021 in a larger, unique chip size, quickly became a best-selling product, and the move to resize to a mini chip was designed with the needs of both home bakers and professionals in mind.

Guittard Santé chips – now produced on a dedicated allergen-friendly line — are gluten and dairy-free, Kosher Pareve and vegan-friendly, making the product free from all 14 major food allergens and sensitivities. Guittard’s formula uses coconut sugar – a natural alternative to refined sugar growing in popularity amongst professionals and consumers—to create a balanced 72% chocolate with one gram of net carbohydrates, two grams of sugar and no sugar alcohol or refined sugar.

With its resized chips, Guittard looks to offer customers more flexibility in application, more even chocolate distribution, quicker melting and decorative garnishing, ultimately creating new ways for customers at home and in professional settings to bring mindful options into their kitchens and on menus.

The new Santé 72% mini baking chips are now available to purchase on-shelf in stores nationwide and wholesale through distributors or directly online.
