Voodoo Doughnut has announced the upcoming grand opening of its highly anticipated store in Seattle’s vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood. The doors will officially open to the public at 8 am on Tuesday, December 10, with the first 50 fans in line being rewarded with an exclusive gift to celebrate the event.
In keeping with Voodoo Doughnuts' commitment to community engagement, 20 percent of the grand opening day’s sales will benefit FareStart, a Seattle-based organization dedicated to transforming lives through food, life skills, and job training.
“Capitol Hill is the perfect home for our first Seattle shop,” says Chris Schultz, chief executive officer of Voodoo Doughnut. “We’re not just opening a store; we’re joining a community—and our partnership with FareStart underscores our commitment to making a positive local impact.”
"We are thrilled to partner with Voodoo Doughnut, a company that shares our commitment for empowering individuals and building stronger communities," says Patrick D’Amelio, chief executive officer of FareStart. "This collaboration allows us to blend their innovative spirit with our transformational mission, making a sweet difference together right here in Seattle."
Voodoo Doughnut’s Seattle location will showcase its signature selection of over 40 flavors, including popular options like the Bacon Maple Bar, Memphis Mafia and a variety of vegan creations, as well as whimsical décor in the store.
