Hobart has announced it will host its annual giveaway of a custom-designed Legacy+® HL662 pizza dough mixer at the International Pizza Expo. Show attendees can enter for a chance to win the mixer, valued at $35,000, at booth #1403 during the show, March 25-27 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The premium commercial food equipment manufacturer will reveal this year’s mixer design at the start of the expo.

Hobart designed the Legacy+ HL662 maximum heavy-duty mixer to provide consistent mixing of heavy pizza doughs and recently added two new upgrades to the machine. The mixer now features an exclusive NoChipMax™ System, which consists of a NoChip™ aluminum planetary with a metallic gray hybrid powder finish that is scratch and corrosion resistant. This new design prevents paint chipping associated with the painted cast iron finish on the previous mixer model. The system also includes a NoChip #12 attachment hub with a stainless-steel insert and die cast cover, which also prevents paint chipping when using a VS9 slicer attachment or meat grinder.

In addition to these new features, the Legacy+ HL662 mixer is powered by the Hobart-exclusive PLUS system. This system consists of VFDadvantage technology, maximum capacity overheat protection and a reinforced planetary shaft. Together, these features allow for as much as 30 percent more mixing capacity in the same size bowl, depending on the application, and drive more power to the bowl for consistent mixing and output.  

Those interested can enter for a chance to win the custom-designed mixer at the Hobart booth beginning at 10 am PST on Tuesday, March 25, with one entry allowed per attendee. Hobart will randomly select a winner from entries at the booth on Thursday, March 27, at approximately 12:30 pm PST. Attendees do not need to be present to win.
