As consumers look to live healthier lifestyles at the start of the new year, Sprinkles has announced a new treat that is as wholesome as it is indulgent.

The bakery chain’s new Citrus Power Up is its first high-protein cupcake. It features eight grams of protein and is crafted with high-quality ingredients like grass-fed whey and extra virgin olive oil, and is naturally sweetened with raw honey, monk fruit and allulose. Each cupcake is topped with a luscious orange cream cheese frosting.

Among Sprinkles’ other indulgent treats this month is the returning Biscoff Cookie Butter cupcake, which features a Biscoff cookie crust with a cinnamon cake, a cookie butter core, and finished with brown sugar frosting with a crushed Biscoff rim.

Customers can also enjoy the taste of everyone’s favorite all-day breakfast item, Pop Tarts. This cupcake is reimagined as a vanilla cake, lined with a pink sugar cookie crust, filled with strawberry jam, topped with strawberry frosting and finished with drizzled vanilla buttercream, red sugar crystals and a mini Pop Tart.
