A handful of restaurants are celebrating spooky season with Halloween-themed menu items.
Creepy characters are the stars of several Halloween offerings. Baskin-Robbins is introducing an ice cream cake decorated to look like a monster, and Krispy Kreme is offering zombie donuts. Carvel’s Lil’ Screamers are ghosts made of ice cream and cookies, while Starbucks’ Frappula Frappuccino is based on the vampire Dracula.
Pumpkins are popular icons to emulate as well. Baskin-Robbins offers a Pinata Pumpkin Patch Cake frosted to look like a jack-o-lantern, and Krispy Kreme’s Pumpkin donut is dipped in orange icing and decorated to look like a pumpkin. Both Panera Bread and Starbucks offer cookies shaped and frosted like pumpkins, and Papa Murphy’s even serves a Jack-O-Lantern pizza shaped like a pumpkin with a face made of pepperoni.
