Catersource, the world’s premier educational resource and expansive network for the catering and events industry, recognized top talent and achievements of several industry leaders in catering and events at Catersource 2017, a top trade show for catering and event professionals held March 12-15 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The event was held in conjuction with Achievement in Catering & Events Awards and International Catering Association (ICA) Catered Arts Through Innovative Excellence (CATIE) Awards.

Two bakery industry professionals were able to garner awards for their achievements in catering. Best Celebration Cake was awarded to Culinary Papers Catering and Special Events in Vancouver and Best Dessert was awarded to A Joy Wallace Catering, Design &Special Events in Miami. Those two awards, recognizing exemplary culinary production at an event, were presented by the International Catering Association.

This year’s event was Catersource’s 25^th anniversary. Catersource 2018 will be held February 18-21, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
