The new shop will have a retro feel, with a bright palette of blues, yellows, greens. Shelves behind the shop’s wooden countertop will be adorned with glass containers filled with candy, cakes, and other treats.
Cake Ambition is the creation of cake designer Jessica Bouren. Bouren has a background as an interior designer in Louisville, Kentucky. Cake Ambition allowed Bouren to combine her talents of designing and baking into one business.
The shop will be the second one in Detroit, after the original located inside of Midtown favorite Traffic Jam & Snug. The shop will continue to focus on its signature custom cakes while also offering a cafe experience with coffee, tea, housemade desserts, and old-fashioned candy.
Jessica Bouren is especially proud of her business and the experience it provides for customers. “A Cake Ambition Cake creates a memory, a magical moment in time you will never forget,” she says.
