May is a special time of the year, with weeks of appreciation scheduled for teachers, nurses, and mothers. Three Brothers Bakery in Houston is honoring these groups with special treats customers can purchase to show their appreciation.
This year, Teacher Appreciation Week is May 7-13, National Nurses Week is May 6-12, and Mother’s Day is May 14. The bakery will offer limited-time themed items including dipped decorated cookies, cakes, and dipped berries, among other delicious treats.
Teacher Appreciation Week will feature classroom-themed dip decs decorated with chalkboards, apples, and pencils. National Nurses Week will feature a "we love nurses” dip dec, decorated with a stethoscope and bright blue sanding sugar. Finally, Mother’s Day treats will include festive dip decs and cakes with sayings like “Love you, mom” and “#1 Mom,” pies made with seasonal fruit like cherry and strawberry, petit fours, and chocolate dipped strawberries.
“We want to take the time during these few weeks in May to say thank you to all the wonderful mothers, teachers, and nurses,” says Bobby Jucker, bakery co-owner and fifth generation baker. “The bakery offers treats and delicious sweets for just about every holiday, so we want to offer items for those lesser-known holidays that are still just as important to our customers. Our dip decs for Nurse’s Week and Teacher Appreciation Week are a way to thank someone who has gone the extra mile.”
