Providence, Rhode Island-based PVDonuts likes to stand out from the crowd. The donut shop is no stranger to unique ideas – earlier this year, it offered a menu of ‘90s-themed donuts based on classic foods such as Dunkaroos, Pop Rocks, and Cosmic Brownies.

Those options satisfied the sweet tooth of many customers, but the bakery also has a savory side to it. PVDonuts’ pizza donut is its most popular flavor, taking a brioche donut and filling it with red sauce. Then, the donut is topped with mozzarella and melted in an oven. Finally, it’s sprinkled with more cheese and topped with a slice of pepperoni.
