Food Network is looking to spread some holiday cheer with its programming starting next month. On November 6, new seasons of Holiday Baking Championship (9 p.m. EST) and Christmas Cookie Challenge (10 p.m. EST) will premiere.
In Holiday Baking Championship, nine bakers compete over seven weeks to create delicious desserts celebrating Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Hanukkah. The competition is hosted by Jesse Palmer and judged by Duff Goldman, Nancy Fuller, and Lorraine Pascale. The winner of Holiday Baking Championship takes home a $50,000 grand prize and the title of Holiday Baking Champion.
In Christmas Cookie Challenge, cookie makers will prove their holiday skills through two rounds of competition hosted by Eddie Jackson. Lead judge Ree Drummond, joined by a rotating panel of guest judges including Kimberly Bailey, James Briscione, Damiano Carrara, Dan Langan, Jamika Pessoa, Jordan Pilarski, Aarti Sequeira, and Joy Wilson, will determine a winning baker who will take home a $10,000 grand prize.
“Food Network's holiday programming captures the sugar and spice and everything nice about the season, with fun and exciting challenges that bring to life the spirit of holiday classic treats and traditions,” says Courtney White, Senior Vice President Programming, Scripps Networks Interactive.
