Restaurant review guide Zagat recently released its Most Exciting Food Cities in the U.S., with the rankings established by culinary experts who determined them based on their diverse cuisine and other factors.

Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago, Denver, and Seattle round out the Top Five, and in the biggest surprise New York City did not make the Top Ten.
