From now until the 2018 Academy Awards (which takes place March 4), customers in the L.A. area can advance order a special Red Carpet Doughnut by phone or online. This themed-doughnut features red velvet on the inside, with glittery gold on the outside.
The outside design is a nod to the Academy Awards’ iconic gold statuette given to winners, which is nicknamed “Oscar.” The red velvet inside references the red carpet, which Academy Awards attendees walk on before entering the venue where the show takes place.
