To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Mars Wrigley Confectionery is opening a sweets-inspired spa in New York for two days.
On February 13 and 14, the company behind such candy brands as M&M’s, Skittles, and Starbursts is setting up the ‘Sweet ReTreat’ in midtown Manhattan. This candy salon will feature “TREATments” including signature manicures and pedicures, blow-outs, style touch-ups, and a make-up counter.
Each segment of the salon will be based on Mars candies. Some of those include:
- Manicure – Candy shell lacquers inspired by Skittles and Starbursts flavors.
- Pedicure – Customers can enjoy a Snickers candy bar while getting a signature soak and scrub.
- Blow-out – Infused mint blow-outs inspired by mint-flavored Altoids and Extra gum.
- Candy Counter Make-up Bar – Chocolate-themed shades based on Dove, M&M’s, Twix, and Snickers.
The company is now taking reservations for two on its website for the candy salon, but visitors can also pop-in during the two days to relax in the lounge and treat themselves to a candy beverage bar.
