The Jose Cuervo-inspired margarita doughnut from Voodoo Doughnut.

Thursday, February 22 is National Margarita Day, and Voodoo Doughnut is going all out to celebrate this special beverage.

From February 22-24, the company will be serving margarita-inspired doughnuts at all of its locations. Over the weekend, it teased the trio of limited-time flavors on Instagram, saying, “This #NationalMargaritaDay, prepare yourselves to have #CuervoForBreakfast.”

Inspired by tequila company Jose Cuervo, these alcohol-free doughnuts will pay homage to the beloved margarita. One of the doughnuts will resemble a margarita, with lemon jelly, vanilla frosting, lime dust, and white sprinkles.

According to Eater Austin, the doughnuts will be free while supplies last on Thursday, and they’ll be available for purchase at $2.50 each on the following two days.

Voodoo Doughnut has stores in Portland, Eugene, Denver, Austin, and Universal City. It originated in Portland, and has come to be known not only for its delicious donuts but also for creating an entire experience that has made it a popular tourist destination.
