The “huevocado,” as it’s referred to, is made with chocolate and stuffed with mini white chocolate egg truffles. It will be available from March 23 through Easter Sunday (April 1) at Dominique Ansel Bakery Los Angeles.
Huevocados can be pre-ordered on the bakery’s website, and will be available for $22. Another seasonal item available is the bakery’s Peep-a-Boos, which are fluffy honey marshmallow chicks with gooey salted caramel centers tucked inside dark chocolate-lined egg shells.
Dominique Ansel has become known not only for his culinary innovation but also for his unique promotions. Recently, he opened a limited-time burger pop-up at his 189 by Dominique Ansel restaurant above the Los Angeles bakery.
