Peeps donuts will be available at several Federal Donuts locations throughout the city for one weekend only, from Friday, March 30 through Sunday, April 1. These donuts feature a marshmallow glaze and are topped with candy colored sanding sugars in shades of pink, yellow, and blue.
The limited-time offering is available for pre-order in packs of six for $13. They can be picked up Friday through Sunday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. EST at Federal Donuts locations in North Philadelphia, Central City, and West Philadelphia, and they can be picked up at the South Philadelphia location from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. EST.
Federal Donuts has become known for creative special-edition donuts. To support its hometown Philadelphia Eagles during their Super Bowl run, the donut shop debuted an 'Iggle' donut. For St. Patrick’s Day earlier in March, it offered a donut based on Irish Potato candies, with cinnamon and cream cheese glaze topped with sugar, spice, and toasted coconut.
