Nailed It! is an original Netflix series in which amateur bakers compete to replicate complicated cakes and other desserts in order to win a $10,000 cash prize, with often hilarious results. The show debuted just over one month ago, and since then has become a massive hit and has already earned a second season.
To promote its second season, Nailed It! has announced a new contest that is sure to excite fans of selfies and baking. The #bakeyourselfie contest asks fans to decorate a cookie (using a specific sugar cookie recipe approved by the show) in their own likenesses, then post the finished product along with a real photo of themselves to Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram using the hashtag #bakeyourselfie while also tagging @NailedIt.
The contest will end on Friday, April 20, at which time a winner will be chosen and given the opportunity to participate on the show.
“We can’t just wander into the kitchen without testing your skills,” says Nailed It! host Nicole Byer. “Take a selfie and recreate your face on a cookie . . . And make sure you ‘Nailed It’!”
