Rise was founded in 2012 in Durham, and since then has grown rapidly throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas. The Kansas City area in both Missouri and Kansas will provide exciting opportunities for the brand.
“I was initially drawn to Rise Biscuits Donuts because of its high-quality product and family-friendly environment, which I think will be a welcome addition to the Kansas City area,” says franchisee Ryan Cook. “The gourmet donut concept offers something for everyone, from scratch-made donuts to made-to-order sandwiches served on Rise’s famous southern biscuits and rolls.”
Flaky biscuits and sweet donuts are at the heart of the concept, and Rise is also known for its innovative breakfast sandwiches. The biscuit sandwiches come in savory flavors like avocado toast and smoked pork, while the donuts bring the sweetness with flavors like crème brûlée and maple bacon.
