The International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) is the Western Hemisphere’s largest baking industry event, and it continues to grow as it adds more features to an already-packed baking expo. IBIE has announced that its 2019 show will be expanded with features tailored and focused on the artisan and specialty baking audience.
New to IBIE will be a state-of-the-art pavilion introducing show elements specifically produced to support the growth of the artisan and specialty market segment. It will feature curated competitions, staged demonstrations from celebrity chefs and Certified Master Bakers, tastings, expert Q&A sessions, exhibitor demonstrations, and much more.
“With technology and automation becoming increasingly prevalent in our industry, it’s important to recognize and continue to invest in the artisan movement,” says IBIE Chair Joe Turano. “IBIE 2019 has focused its efforts to address the unique needs of this growing market segment. This new show floor experience will offer a comprehensive array of education and demonstrations to ensure the artisan community has the tools they need to flourish. Our goal is that artisan and specialty bakers leave IBIE 2019 feeling well-served, connected, and inspired.”
In addition to the immersive pavilion experience, IBIE 2019 will also provide its world-renowned IBIEducate program, now expanded with a full track of sessions highlighting every aspect of the artisan business including business best practices and marketing techniques, and will also feature technical sessions and hands-on sessions that help bakers master their craft and grow their businesses.
Thousands of bakers and industry professionals from around the world will descend on Las Vegas on September 8-11, 2019 to connect with like-minded professionals to share ideas, discuss challenges, and discover new trends, products, and services.
IBIE is supported by leading organizations like including Retail Bakers of America, Bread Bakers Guild of America, French Pastry School, BAKE Magazine, and many more.
