On Saturday, May 19, Prince Harry of the British royal family will marry Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle in the 15th century St. George’s Chapel. People around the world are interested in this momentous occasion, and bakeries are even finding ways to get in on the fun.

Eli’s Cheesecake is giving its customers a unique option for celebrating the royal wedding. The Chicago bakery has created a DIY Wedding Cake Kit that is based on the wedding cake that will be featured at the couple’s reception (which, in untraditional fashion, will be created by an American pastry chef).

The kit includes three sizes of Eli's Original Plain or Chocolate Chip Cheesecake (9", 7", 5"), lemon-elderflower buttercream frosting (inspired by the royal wedding cake flavor), a pastry bag with 2 tips, 3 gold boards, and decorations such as mini British flags.

This royal wedding kit can provide customers with a special way to celebrate the occasion. It costs $119.95 plus shipping and serves 40 people.

Eli’s Cheesecake is one of the largest specialty cheesecake bakeries in the country, baking more than 50 kinds of cheesecakes and desserts at its retail location in Chicago. The bakery has grown from a local favorite to creating 2,000-pound cheesecakes for both Bill Clinton's and Barack Obama's Inaugural celebrations in Washington D.C.
