Friday, June 1 marks a special time of the year for doughnut shops all across the country. Krispy Kreme is getting in on the fun with a special offer for its guests.

On National Doughnut Day, Krispy Kreme customers can receive one free doughnut of any flavor of their choosing at participating locations throughout the U.S. (and Canada as well). Classic varieties such as the Original Glazed Doughnut, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, or Glazed Raspberry Filled Doughnut are available, as are limited-time offerings such as the NUTTER BUTTER Cookie Twist Doughnut, CHIPS AHOY! Doughnut, or OREO Cookies and Kreme Doughnut.

“Providing our guests a free doughnut of their choice on National Doughnut Day has become quite a tradition here at Krispy Kreme,” says Jackie Woodward, Chief Marketing Officer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. “We can’t wait for our fans to enjoy their favorite Krispy Kreme doughnut on us! We just love this day.”

The doughnut chain is promoting the event with former NBA player and Basketball Hall-of-Famer Shaquille O’Neal, seen in the video above.
