Ingredients

Brill 2-8” Apple Spice Cakes

Brill White buttercreme Icing

Brill Red Decorating Icing

Brill Moss Green Decorating Icing  (Mix one part  Decorating  Green, one part Brilliant Green and ½ part Brilliant Orange icings)

Brill Chocolate Light N’ Fluffy

 

Instructions

Make frozen buttercreme cutout. (See note below).

Cut two 5” circles from sheet cake.

Ice with white buttercreme icing.

Smooth sides and top.

Place  buttercreme cut out on cake.

Pipe tip #8 red icing border around bottom.

Pipe tip #47 red icing ribbon around side of cake as pictured.

Pipe tip #5 white buttercreme top border.

Add tip #5 white buttercreme highlight to apple.

Add tip #5 chocolate buttercreme stem.

Add tip #352 moss green leaf to stem.

 

Buttercreme Cutouts

Tape plastic wrap to a sheet cake board.

Spread appropriate color buttercreme icing on board 1/8th   to   1/4th  inch thick.

Place a second sheet of plastic wrap over buttercreme.

Smooth with a small rolling pin.

Freeze until firm.

Remove from freezer and pull back top layer of plastic film.

Use a cookie cutter to cut out desired shape(s) and immediately place on cake. 

Return unused portion to freezer.
