Unifine Food & Bake Ingredients (UK) has won the Bakery Supplier of the Year Award at the Bakery Industry Awards 2011.

The company, which has recently been acquired by Dawn Foods, picked up the accolade at an Awards ceremony celebrating all that’s best about the baking industry at the Park Lane Hilton in London.  The awards recognize achievement and professionalism across the baking industry, rewarding those companies and individuals who drive the industry forward.   Simon Solway collected the Award for Unifine.

Unifine is one of the leading European specialists in developing, producing and supplying added value pastry ingredients.

Dawn Foods completed the acquisition of the business from Royal Cosun in July of this year. The Unifine business is being fully integrated into Dawn, with leaders from both organizations working closely together to implement an integration plan. 

Dawn Foods sponsored the In-Store Bakery of the Year Award – won this year by Morrisons, Canterbury.
