One of America’s favorite cheesecake brands is expanding its brand reach across the globe.
The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated has announced the expansion of its existing development agreement with Hong Kong-based Maxim’s Caterers Limited to include Thailand. In 2014, The Cheesecake Factory® entered into its agreement with Maxim’s which initially provided for the development of a minimum of 14 restaurants in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and the People’s Republic of China. The new agreement includes development of a minimum of 18 restaurants across the expanded development area by 2028.
A leading operator of full-service and quick-service restaurants across Asia, Maxim’s currently operates six The Cheesecake Factory restaurants in Hong Kong, Macao, Beijing, and Shanghai. The first location in Thailand is expected to open in 2023.

Domestically, The Cheesecake Factory continues to gain high marks in terms of loyalty.
Earlier this year, The Cheesecake Factory was recognized as one of the 2022 PEOPLE Companies That Care®, according to PEOPLE magazine and Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture. Through this program the company donated more than 662,000 pounds of food in 2021. Additionally, through the sale of its specially designated cheesecakes, since 2008 The Cheesecake Factory has donated more than $5.9 million to Feeding America®, the nation’s largest organization dedicated to fighting domestic hunger through a network of food banks.
