New collaborations are sparking creative promotional campaigns that translate into big wins for leading bakeries.
To celebrate the return of “The B-52s Love Shack: The Las Vegas Residency” to The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian Resort, Pinkbox Doughnuts® and Live Nation Las Vegas partnered for an exclusive one-day promotion on August 31, when participating Pinkbox Doughnuts locations across Las Vegas offered “The B-52s” doughnut - a treat inspired by The World’s Greatest Party Band’s Love Shack Las Vegas residency featuring groovy, tie-dye frosting on a raised doughnut filled with confetti whip and topped with B-52’s logo décor.
Random B-52s doughnuts included special pink tickets, awarding one lucky customer at each Pinkbox location a pair of tickets to see the B-52s at The Venetian Theatre.
Pinkbox Doughnuts is located throughout the valley, including The Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas; 3990 E. Sunset Rd. in Las Vegas; 7531 W. Lake Mead Blvd. near Summerlin; 1210 W. Craig Rd. in North Las Vegas; 10510 S. Eastern Ave. in Henderson; and 9435 W. Tropicana Avenue in southwest Las Vegas.
“Pinkbox Doughnuts and The B-52s make a natural pair,” said Judith Perez Siegel, owner of Pinkbox Doughnuts. “It’s always a party at Pinkbox Doughnuts where fun and happy doughnuts are the headliners, and The B-52s are the ultimate fun, happy party band. We couldn’t be more excited about this partnership that will continue to spread the fun while giving Pinkbox customers the opportunity to win free tickets to a B-52s show.”
As they prepare to return to The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, The B-52s have announced an additional five dates for their wildly successful Las Vegas residency. The World’s Greatest Party Band is returning to The World’s Greatest Party City in 2024, with performances to be held April 12-20, 2024.
Back to school
For back-to-school season, Three Brothers Bakery debuted their new Plushie Gingy and offered Gingerbread Men for $2 each. Gingy is the unofficial mascot of Three Brothers Bakery and the first time the bakery has ventured into the world of plushies.
The traditions of Three Brothers Bakery began in Chrzanow, Poland circa 1825, and were preserved despite the family’s concentration camp imprisonment during the Holocaust. Their liberation and subsequent move to Houston, brought Eastern European scratch baking traditions to 4036 S. Braeswood Blvd, 12393 Kingsride Lane, 4606 Washington Ave. , 574 Chimney Rock Rd., where the owners are now proud to call themselves “memory makers who happen to be bakers®.”
Perfecting the process for almost 200 years, each day the fifth-generation scratch bakers produce a full line of breads, pastries, cookies, specialty dessert cakes and pies, as well as custom cakes.
Three Brothers Bakery was named 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023 Best of the Best Bakery by Houston Chronicle Readers and their pecan pie was named “the Best Mail Order Pecan Pie America has to offer” by Country Living magazine multiple times along with many other accolades. In 2018, Three Brothers Bakery received the SBA Phoenix Award for Small Business Disaster Recovery and advocates to help small businesses recover after disasters.
