On Monday, September 16, Valley Bakers Cooperative in cooperation with the Wisconsin Bakers Association and Wisconsin Bakers Foundation will be hosting the first session of Bakers U - Ingredients for Success.

The purpose and intention of Bakers U is to gather people from within the baking industry to support community sharing, cost reduction and idea generation.

Attendees are invited to join from 11 am to 12 pm for lunch and a meet and greet with members of the Boards of Directors for both the Wisconsin Bakers Association and Wisconsin Bakers Foundation followed by Bakers U from 12 to 3 pm. It will be held at W6470 Quality Drive in Greenville, Wisconsin.

This fall session will primarily focus on how to repurpose ingredients in the bakery to minimize waste, save on ingredient costs and improve profitability.
