Yields 12 servings

Ingredients

  • Pillsbury™ Freezer-to-Oven Croissant Dough Butter Pinched, 2.7 oz (13446) - 2 lb or 12 each
  • Granulated sugar - 4 oz or 1/2 cup

Directions

  1. Thaw croissant dough covered either at room temperature for 1 hour or refrigerated overnight.
  2. Poke a hole in center of each croissant and stretch dough to create a 1-inch hole.
  3. Drop dough into deep fat fryer preheated to 350°F for approx. 2 minutes per side, until deep golden brown and fully cooked in the center.
  4. Remove from fryer and drain then toss in a mixing bowl with sugar; serve warm.

Tip: Finish as desired by tossing in powdered or cinnamon sugar, dip in melted icing, or add toppings like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, nuts, sprinkles, etc.
