DecoPac, Inc. announces the appointment of John Anderson as the company’s new president. “Our board of directors is excited to elect John to lead DecoPac to bigger and better things in the world of cake decorating,” says Mike McGlynn, CEO of DecoPac. “John has demonstrated the skills, knowledge, and ability that make him the perfect person for the position. He has been directly involved in all aspects of the company’s ongoing success, including strategic acquisitions and partnerships, internal growth and innovation, market and product line expansion.”
As president, Anderson will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s operation. He has been with DecoPac for 17 years and formerly held the position of executive vice president. Prior to DecoPac, he worked for The Pillsbury Company in several positions of progressively increasing responsibility. Previously, he worked with Burlington Northern. Anderson received his BA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls and his MBA from the University of Minnesota. In addition, he possesses his certification as a CPA. Anderson and his wife, Peggy, have two adult daughters and live in the Twin Cities.
