PayPal recently kicked off its Cash for Registers program. Now the company is getting some help from a former small business owner who has successfully grown his family-based business in Hoboken, NJ, into a household name.
"Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro is spreading the word about PayPal’s Cash for Registers program, which offers small businesses the chance to upgrade to modern technology. Helping to collect payments in a simple and secure manner, waiving processing fees through January 31, 2014, and allowing small businesses the flexibility to grow and evolve with technology.
As an added bonus, Valastro, together with PayPal, will be hosting a free, one-hour webinar on Wednesday, Aug. 7, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PST. Register for "How to Bake Up More Profits for Your Small Business" now. Space is limited: http://bit.ly/C4Rwebinar.
Valastro is an accomplished, fourth-generation baker, born into the business which was owned and operated by his parents. When his father passed away, Buddy was just 17. He thrived under pressure, taking on the family business, and, with the help of his family, was able to take Carlo's Bakery to new heights. Now, Buddy is working to take his business one step further by implementing PayPal's point of sale solutions accepting PayPal in his bakeries, as well as his online business.
"I know for my business, I need things to run as smoothly as possible to keep it profitable and successful,” Valastro says. “That means focusing on keeping my customers happy and not worrying about payments. I'm excited to work with PayPal to make that happen with a modern point of sale system that takes care of payment, invoicing and managing my information."
Small- and medium-sized businesses can now upgrade their cash-based registers by purchasing a more modern and efficient point of sale, and receive free processing from now until January 31, 2014 by going to www.cashforregisters.com. Additional terms and conditions apply.
