Love & Quiches Gourmet (www.loveandquiches.com), one of the nation’s leading dessert and quiche manufacturers, announced that Lisa Jarrell, the company’s former northeast national accounts and distribution manager, has been promoted to a newly created position: national foodservice and c-store sales manager. This new role solidifies Jarrell’s account focus and will allow her to further grow Love & Quiches’ foodservice and c-store business nationwide.
“Each member of our sales team has a specialty or area in which they excel; Lisa, without a doubt, is our c-store expert and champion in Gourmet Grab and Go® sales,” says Joan Axelrod-Siegelwax, vice president of sales and marketing at Love & Quiches, who notes that Jarrell has been responsible for 67% of the company’s total sales of the individually wrapped snack line year-to-date. “This year alone, she has brought five of the top 100 c-store chains into our dessert partner roster. We’re excited to see her take her talent to the next level and know that this position will give her the opportunity to do so.”
In addition to its popular Gourmet Grab and Go line, Love & Quiches is introducing a new individually wrapped shelf-stable brownie line, which will be unveiled at the National Association for Convenience and Fuel Retailing (NACS – www.nacsshow.com) Show this October. The brownies are ideally suited for convenience store, fuel station, coffee service and vending clientele since they have a six-month shelf life and a fresh-baked taste, but no preservatives.
“Lisa will spearhead this new line, increase Gourmet Grab and Go sales and introduce new foodservice products to this channel,” adds Axelrod-Siegelwax. Jarrell will also be responsible for managing the broker network from the northeast through the midatlantic region and for overseeing 35 key c-store accounts, comprising 65% of the company’s total sales in this category.
Jarrell, an industry veteran of more than 20 years, has been with Love & Quiches for the past three years. Prior to joining the company, she served as the east coast regional manager for Perfect Puree of Napa Valley and as a regional manager for Tyson Foods. Prior to that, she held senior management positions with Gardenburger, Pillsbury and, earlier in her career, Best Foods.
Jarrell resides in Simsbury, Connecticut and is an active supporter of the Alzheimer’s Foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Plymouth State College in New Hampshire.
